anyone else getting spammed by some fkn recorded message about getting a free boiler or an electric car charge point? i'm effing sick of them, just had 2 w/in an hour. the number is w/held so i can't block it, so i've registered a complaint at ICO.

I never answer witheld or no caller id numbers as its generally ppi or something to do with selling !
If they need to get hold of me they'll either show me a number or get ignored.

I once got a call from someone starting they were from Microsoft and if I paid them $200 they would remove the virus I had. I let them give their talk then told them " I work for Microsoft anti fraud department and this call has been traced" the line went dead and I have never received another call. I use it on any dodge calls I get, it always works

The trick is dont say anything when you get calls from an unknown or withheld number, they are all voice activated and if you dont say anything in the first 5 seconds, it cuts off. This is obviously for call centres, for recorded calls, you just have to hang up im afraid.
