Got myself a BiTurbo! :)

So trundling along the A34 this morning in the rain, a stone was flicked up from a car traveling the other direction, and it was visible to my eyes, with noway to avoid it, and connected with my front bumper! Urgh New visible stone chip in view now!

I have a stone chip on my front bumper as well so i feel your pain. Only had the car a fortnight too.

20" alloys is my next mod I think? Undecided on what style, I was thinking OEM Rotors, but that's kind of boring, I'm considering the facelift RS6 style rims, as they look amazing on the A6 Avant parked in the Birmingham Audi showroom!

I think that will be pretty it for this car, it's my daily after all. I declared the tuning box, RS6 grill and after market alloys at the time of purchasing insurance! :D

Do you mean these wheels?

Yup, I could ask a custom exhaust specialist. My only fear is do I want to generate so much heat so close to the active speaker if it needs welding into place? I know the exhaust gets hot anyways. lol

Should be fine if they know what they are doing and disconnect the battery before starting!!

I've just ordered a Kufatec Sound Booster Pro to make the BiTdi sound like an R8! Lol. Should be here in a week. :D

@jojo can't wait to hear it! After a quick vid on YouTube I think I like no. 5 best but I could be swayed...

Doubt I'm making a video of it anytime soon lol, there's enough on YT. It's around £280 quid in the uk, but I got mine from eBay.de for £205 posted. If it's not my thing, I'll just get my money back.

Pity it doesn't make it go as quick as an R8 :) Presume sound 6 is supposed to be the V8 . Looks like an easy install .

Tha active exhaust is suppose to sound like a V8 anyways, but the box of tricks just make the start up more aggressive, and louder I'm guessing? It will still not be as loud as a genuine V8 though, there's only so much a speaker can do after all....

So my box of tricks was delivered to me this morning, and following the YT instructions, it took me 5 minutes to install. No point posting a video, it doesn't do the sound in real life any justice! I've left it on sound 6, as it's the loudest and meaty! Lol.
All I can say is, it does what it says on the tin. I don't think it make much difference from 3k revs+, you just can't hear it with the wind noise with the windows open. But between 1-2k revs, it sounds like a proper growly V8! I just did 40-50 miles in it, and it's best enjoyed cruising around in sport mode with the windows open.
I don't think my neighbours or the missus would approve, so happy I can flick it off on the MMI at any time! :)

Gave the A6 a quick wash today, and notice the chrome rings on the tailgate was coming off, so I ordered a set of black rings of eBay for a replacement to compliment the RS front grill. Considering black S-Line badges aswell, but not 100% sure?

@jojo in all fairness the sound is amazing but it's absolutely the WORST video footage in history!!!

Oh Jesus! Come on fellas, these are beautifully engineered executive cruisers, not terry'd up Vauxhall Novas. These chavy noise makers are sacrilege!!!

Nothing much to update, but I've switched the tuning box to the maximum power setting to see if it's actually quicker, and if it effects my mpg? It's only a 10-15bhp boost at a guess, and after a quick test drive just now, I think it maybe a smudge faster than before. Though it could be a placebo effect?

I will report on my mpg figures once I burn 2 tanks of fuel, which will take a month! Lol

love the detail pics, car looks great considering the mileage like you say. I was looking for a grey when I got mine but they were out of my budget. hope to get one next as I love the contrast of the black trim on the grey as opposed to the black on black of mine.

@jojo you b**stard!! What a machine, well wear man! Them C7 A6's are the nicest looking car on the road today, if I have the bucks id love to purchase the A6 black editon bi-turbo..

Well, took the Barge for an MOT yesterday, easily passed with only a couple of advisories to remind me the front tyres are near the wear limiters, which is no issue, as I'm getting some new 20" alloys for it soon! :)

MOT tester did comment it was really loud, am I running a decat? I just switched the active exhaust off from the MMI, and it was purring silently, and he thought it was fantastic! :)

I had this A6 Ultra in the same colour park next to mine earlier today, it was an S-Line car on standard suspension, running standard 18" rims. My car was easily an inch lower with nothing in the boot!

Following up from the wax application, I needed 2 front tyres to keep MOT man happy, and had a 4WA done also.

The alignment was out by a little, and the operator told me that any correction made wouldn't effect how it drives it's so minor, so no adjustment needed, and totally free! :) Tyre price wasn't too bad neither @165 fitted for a 255/40R19 Conti. It's around £10 cheaper using black circles, but they scratched my alloys, so I went to The Tyre Company in Nuneaton(Coventry) for the tyres instead, as they really look after your wheels there! Plus they had a Hunter 4WA machine. Reasonable rate for the 4WA adjustment I was quoted also, but he said it's fine as is, so all is good! :)
