Golf AGU ECU's?

I remember discussions on here about the Golf ECU giving us a flashable alternative to the standard A4 ECU. Does anybody have a definitive set of ECU part numbers I should look for?

£35 posted for the agu. I will let go the DBW for £250, but would probably have to meet up somewhere due to size of the loom.

Really tempted by the DBW kit, is it complete or will I need to hunt down anything to get it going?

You will only need to get map sensor housing to match your IC pipe. Everything else is there. This is pretty much the same as aragorn has put in his few weeks ago.

Yes, I can do transfer. Where are you based? All my stuff is in storage at the moment but can get it middle of week. Hopefully will have keys to my house end of this month, so will start breaking it middle of October.

DBW conversion on a pre-facelift will require the engine to body harness plugs to be cut off/spliced into the older style. Not a huge deal, but more involved than facelift.

You'll also have to modify the DBW engine harness for the oil temperature sensor.

Right, although there are many plus points to converting to DBW I think it's just going to be too much aggro so looks like the Golf ECU is the way we're going to try and take it.

I have a icm deleted facelift AJL/AEB loom and immo deleted ecu (has a blank chip soldered in) im going ME7.5 so its no longer needed will take £80 plus postage.

Yes loom is for 4pin coils so TFSI or hitachi bolt downs.
