Hi guys, I'm going back to stock map in my A4 2006 2.0 TFSI Quattro BUL.
The question is that I have spoken to 2 people and they said different things that I cannot simply upload an old map back as there were some changes in the engine etc I don't know.
Second guy just asked me for the original map and thats it.

So who is right? Do you really not just upload an old pre-map map or is this how it is to be done?

Who have you got a remap through? APR, Revo, etc will flash your car back to stock if you have a map by them. I have done this with all my cars to allow me to take all my mods off them before trading the car in. You could also contact your local Audi dealer and ask if the could flash your ecu to the stock map, they would probably charge you if the agreed to it.

Hi Kenny, it was a less reputable place than Revo etc. who did the remap for me.
I may be calling Audi Coventry today to find out if they do this and what would be the charge

Alternatively, you could just trade it in. Remap? What remap.....
