glovebox light

hi guys a want to fit a light in the glovebox and will be removing the glovebox to fit an ami unit soon, i noticed the holes already in the glovebox but is there a wire behind or do i need a switch on the lid to turn it off etc?
anyone retro fitted one?

The switch is already there it's part of the lid damper. The wiring however isn't. I got a kit from @t8ups which was pretty cheap and easy to fit. Came with the wiring and LED light.
