Glove box nightmare / leather repair

Hello

does anyone have any tips on how to remove a glove box handle and fit with a new one ?

I have removed the entire glove box unit but cant figure out how to take the actual handle off ?

when I bought the car the handle was broken, I assumed it would be an easy fix but boy was I wrong.

I cant seem to see how to remove the actual glove box from its hinge and also from there the handle from the panel.

I basically have a huge glove box unit in my living room and the Mrs is going mental

secondly

I have a tear in the leather on my rear seat. it will need 2 panels replacing. does anyone have any recommendations for leather repair companies or perhaps a link to where I can get a replacement panel ?

local repair companies want £550+ for the repair.
