Getting ready for stage 1. maybe 2?

    Hello just had my mot and it passed apart from my sidelights had blown, they were replaced and as soon as i turned them on they blew again, thinking its related to my aftermarket HID's? anyho a few other questions will this guide:
    N249 Bypass guide LCR - SEAT Cupra.net - SEAT Forum
    Work on my a3 1.8t AUM? guessing its the sameish.

    S2000 Filter
    NGK BKR7E Spraks
    JOM Coilovers
    JOM Droplinks
    Heat Shield - VW Golf mk4/A3 Air intake heat shield open cone shield cupra | eBay

    Can anyone see any problems using the heat shield and s2000 filter?

    Lowering my car how low can it be for dyno (when i get it mapped?)

    Also for stage 2 would i be right in saying all i need on top is a FMIC and if so would this work -

    Finally if anyone fancies fitting a catch can and simplifying the PCV system + n249 bybass how much? as i really don't like the look of the job :D

    i booked my car in for remap and the basically said to me on coilovers u have to have it as high as possible or they wont put it in the dyno.

    i would(coilovers)leave till after
    the n249 delete is really simple mate(30 min job if your not competent 10 mins if you are)
