Getting cr*p out of the cooling system....

Anybody know of anything to help get rid of cr*p in the coolant to help it to get flushed out?
My car has some old additives in its coolant from a previous life, the radweld, bar leaks sort of stuff I'm assuming, and I'm going to flush the system out and refill it at the weekend with new coolant as I think my heater matris is getting clogged.
    Any ideas would be great.

you can get Wynn's coolant flush from GSF, I used it on my S6 when the coolant filled with gearbox oil. I let it tick over for a while and then drained it from the bottom of the radiator. then flushed it out with lots of water before filling with coolant. I also removed the explansion tank and washed it out in the house as the gearbox oil and stuck to the inside of it..
