    hi all.
    looking at buying an a3 1.6 3dr. 2004 plate 33000 on clock.
noticing that it's five years old . i take it i would need to remplace cam belt, tensioners, water pump etc?
seems like an ok price but needing mot in june so was going to get it aa inspected.
if its due a service, combined with mot and cam belt etc obviously makes a big difference to me.
would i be right in saying 75000 for cam is about right?
    thanks in advance

For petrol it is recommended around 75. Although I would personally do every 4-5 years incase rubber perishes.

Check your pm btw, I may be selling mine shortly.

yea cambelt change every 5 years, had mine done recently, new cam belt kit and water pump, its best to do water pump at same time as cam belt!
