Gearstick Movement

Is it normal for the gearstick to move about 3-5mm when coming on and off the throttle? It seems to only do it in certain gears (mostly second and fifth).

Gearbox mount could be slightly worn, but some movement is normal.

Check your front mount, often called snub mount.

Will get it checked out. It's going for MOT in a couple of weeks so I'll ask the tester to have a look.

Is this the mount that people are swapping for the RS4 one? If so, does it make much difference?
