I'm not overly concerned guys but I've noticed there is a fair bit of movement of the gear stick under acceleration or sudden lift off of gas. Is this typical of the 1.8T? I know a lot of cars do it, but it was barely noticeable in my toledo v5.

    Cheers

engine mount on the front will help , also the gearbox mounts maybe a little sloppy
but as long as it not a stupid amount i should not be too worried

    Thanks guys.

No it's not a stupid amount, just not what I'm used to. There's no urgency but I'll look whether to get the engine and maybe gearbox mounts changed in due course.

    Cheers
