as mine is annoying the hell outa me by being loose at the mo i was windering is there any other nice audi gearknobs on the market?

I treated the wife to a new knob (oooh er missus), but they aren't cheap:

Very nice though and so easy to fit (compared to the ****** A3!)

I put the RS4 one into mine. Nice combo of leather and alloy. As with most things Audi, not cheap.

does the RS4 knob come in 5-speed, or only 6-speed?

The B7 version only comes in 6 speed, as all RS4's were 6 speed.

The air leather one in mine is nice. You might be able to get a 5 speed too. The reason they're about £60 is you get the leather gaiter and the alloy shaft too.

i got one like bubstar and just changed the 5 speed badge over from my old knob to the new, perfect fit mate.

I had the RS4 one in my B6 S4 avant & it was the best I've ever seen & very good quality.
