My gear leaver has stopped returning to the centre of the gate when you take it of gear, any idea why?
    Thanks

maybe the nylon ball and socket is dry or tight mate, try some oil like 3in1 or similar and with the boot pulled up, drip it into the white plastic ball joint in the centre of the shaft and on the side rails too since your in there - and hopefully that should sort it, I had this prob on the Alfa TDi and that cured it :)

You just prise up the leather gaiter (it's just clipped in) and it's all there.

As Andymac says there are 4 clips at either corner that clip out, just make sure you don't lose any clips.
