Hi all,
Today I went @ the dsg doctor in the Netherlands for searching my leak. They told me that the outer gasket between the haldex and dsg will be the source. Now I have forgotten to ask the part number. Is there somone who can help me?
If it's helps my opinion about the dsg doctor:
I know Ronald allready several years but only as 'VR6 SPECIALIST' and was very pleased with the service. Now with the 'dsg doctor' I'm not convienced:
1) 30 min of work for 145 € is easy money
2) they where very fast to say that the clutch was burned, because the car drove backwards after switching the selector from P to N. I was a little bit surprised and tried it again and the car stands. The technician reacts alltough that fact the car shifts well.
3) the gasket seal history as written above, i've already emailed the company after my visit and there answer was that it wasn't easy to search this and suggest to search on the net by myself.
4) the car has a report of 310hp but the technician doesn't believes this value also he logged a testdrive and noticed that the turbo's output was 2200 mbar and asked 2500 mbar. I've asked what could be the cause of this and he answered that prossibly the gas system could be the problem. I explained to him that it is a stand alone system and that he did the test drive on fuel and not on gas. He didn't respond to that.if you know that TVS is also a tuner.....
So at my opinion they will know a lot of dsg's but I felt myself like a number, not like a client.
