Hi all,

Today I went @ the dsg doctor in the Netherlands for searching my leak. They told me that the outer gasket between the haldex and dsg will be the source. Now I have forgotten to ask the part number. Is there somone who can help me?

If it's helps my opinion about the dsg doctor:

I know Ronald allready several years but only as 'VR6 SPECIALIST' and was very pleased with the service. Now with the 'dsg doctor' I'm not convienced:

1) 30 min of work for 145 € is easy money
2) they where very fast to say that the clutch was burned, because the car drove backwards after switching the selector from P to N. I was a little bit surprised and tried it again and the car stands. The technician reacts alltough that fact the car shifts well.
3) the gasket seal history as written above, i've already emailed the company after my visit and there answer was that it wasn't easy to search this and suggest to search on the net by myself.
4) the car has a report of 310hp but the technician doesn't believes this value also he logged a testdrive and noticed that the turbo's output was 2200 mbar and asked 2500 mbar. I've asked what could be the cause of this and he answered that prossibly the gas system could be the problem. I explained to him that it is a stand alone system and that he did the test drive on fuel and not on gas. He didn't respond to that.if you know that TVS is also a tuner.....

So at my opinion they will know a lot of dsg's but I felt myself like a number, not like a client.

Given that the gearbox and haldex are on opposite ends of the car they could not possibly be touching each-other enough to need a gasket. Can you clarify the exact components you are referring to? Haldex clutch and controller maybe?

I think he means front diff and dsg box.

Did you check any of the online ETKAs for the part number? http://www.oemepc.com/audi/lang/e

I wouldn't change the clutch packs if it drives OK, however they could inspect them if you get them to change the gasket?

Regarding your boost issue, have you checked the usual culprit - the DV?

Hi guys thanks for the reply's
First of all they managed to give me an answer :02Q 409 189 or 09A 409 529 B
How i received an invoice of 59€ to repair this is really strange for me. Unfortunately they are350 km away from me otherwise I let hem repairing this leak for that price.
Sometimes the car knock's when I put it in P, certainly not all the times. It has begon with a service on the dsg gearbox. ( changing oil and filter)

The etka online version , I wasn't aware of this.thx for the tip!
For the boost leak I have a blow off valve, i' m going to repleace the pcv next week or couldn't that be the issue?
