gamma and concert

    Does anyone know if the connections at the back of the Gamma headunit (usually found in vw's) are the same as the concert stereo?

    In particular I was wondering if the CD changer link up was the same. If anyone had wiring diagrams of either or both that would be super (98 models in particular).

    the gamma is much the same as the concert is it not? why not compare the wiring adaptors?

    Here's the Concert diagram if it's any help:

    The only issues you may have are display interface to the DIS, CANBUS compatibility as some Audi's don't use a switched live to tell the HU when the ignition is on but rely on the CANBUS.

    ah - thanks Andy, I managed to source a gamma diagram out too. they look similar.
