    There is another app on the iPhone called Dynolicious that measures G-Force and also does timed runs and measures acceleration etc. It's very good and the results are all plotted out on graphs which the app then emails to you. I wouldn't vouch for it being the most accurate method around but for the cost of the app it's good fun.
