When would you upgrade your FPR and why would you do so?
Also, if your S3 fuel pump operates at 3 bar can you use a 4 bar FPR.
Guess, i am asking how a FPR works ?

The S3 fuel pump runs at 5 bar therefore 4 bar is within its reach. running a 4 bar FPR over the 3 will increase fuelling, but wont necessarily give more power.

When you say your using a large bore MAF, what car is it from and what size is it?

its the BAMM ,a thinwall stainless custom made, same external diameter,so theres no install problems on TIP. but the same size internal as an s4 maf, smoother flow and no screens 18% more flow than standard
 
Ah ok. Im having one custom made from aluminium. Im using a modified TT MAF housing at the moment but its not tidy enough for my liking so going for an all alloy one. should look nicer and flow better too.

how much does your one cost? what TIP are you using whith that IHI charger?
 
yeh its an adjustable "boost machine", the filterbox is a custom made twin entry heat insulated carbon fibre box a guy in the states makes all sorts of stuff like this, and with the exchange rate at the moment it works out resonable
