    Hi guys,

I'm replacing my front wiper motor as it exhibited some stuttering and then ceased to work completely.

I've removed the motor & linkage to make sure I order the correct one.

My motor (8P2 955 119 A) below has the connector on the right, motors advertised on ebay (8P2 955 119 F) have the connector on the left.

Are these ebay wiper motors compatible?

Anyone got an answer for this folks?? It's one I could do with finding out. The early ones are difficult to find!

    Hi Dan320is,

We repair A3 wiper motors quite often due to people installing the wrong HID kits.

Both wiper motors have the same connectors & they "can work" (connectors will match & wipers will move) in any A3 because we usually test both of them in one of our cars.
BUT I believe they have different fitting & you wouldn't be able to install them properly.

You can check hundreds of photos of both wiper motors on our Sponsor Forum.
    Hope it helps.

Also be careful when buying them on ebay.
The UK wiper motor & the European are different (they are inverted, only UK motor will fit your vehicle.)

For anyone looking for an answer.

I used a later style wiper motor and linkage. It bolted in perfectly and plugged in. Works fine. The only modification I needed was to strip the wiring loom tape around three inches to allow it to plug into the opposite side of the motor.
