I no this will have been asked before but how much does a front spoiler cost? Painted and fitted from a stealer?

Also how easy would it be to fit this yourself? And does anyone know anyone who's got one for sale or can get them at a trade price?

Thinking about getting one but didn't want it to cost the earth.

Do you know anyone who could fit it then d3fy? Or are you a dab hand at stuff like that? Maybe we could lend each other a hand your not too far away from me, that's if we can get hold of one without going via a dealer? Might be easier tho for a dealer to do it. Might have to get some quotes.

I most certainly can. If not I can decent dscounted rates but it depends on the shipping of course...

Ask the guy for a part number and I'll price one up and availability.

This is the part number for a sportback, but mine is a 3door not sure if they are the same or not - youd expect them to be.

to mess around with the outside of a 25k car. I was bad enough replacing the pedals with ally ones, I had to use a crowbar on them and was scared silly that I would break the pedal and be stuck

The're are two different parts for the Votex spoiler for 3 & 5 door. 5 door is actually >£50 cheaper for some reason. Someone on here has previously fitted it themselves but it's no mean feat involving clamps bonding etc..might have been one of the Scandis.

There was one on ebay last night, may still be there, about £85 iirc. Think it was new too but you'd need to check.

Shocking Audi's price in the book for this is £332.00! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked2.gif

    The Book

Also has anyone fitted the tail pipes themselves? How easy is it to break the weld on the current tips?? Do the Audi ones just screw on do you know?

I've got them ready to fit.

It doesn't look that hard - you can always hacksaw through the weld.

fitting them looks easy! They are individual and held on by a couple of grub screws. Looks very easy.

I chased him again yesterday, I owe him some money for the pedals I just recently ordered so I would have thought he would have got in touch

He may be on holiday but I chased him again yestersday.

Not looking good on the spoiler front /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif If there is any discount it will only be very small. But he is going to try to get me some prices.

So your not actually saving anything by doin it yourself... you might as well get your dealer to do it, for £332 or get um to make a deal with you as a valued customer!! I'm sure you could get something off of it.
