Bought this AUDI A3 A4 A6 TT VW GOLF MK4 GTi BORA 1.8 TURBO FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER KIT FMIC | eBay

from a friend, only to find after stripping everything down that none of the pipes seem to fit, the kit doesn't come with any fitting instructions and I simply can't find any way that this fits, they're sold all over the place so I can't see them being a scam and I've seen pics of them fitted to the same Car on Google, can anyone spread some light on this?

    I have a 1999 A3 1.8T Sport 3 door

All these 'kits' require a little creativity... the only FMIC kits I know that fit out the box are Forge ones...

Lay the pipes out logically based on the pictures the one with the DV out stub should be the one off the turbo... the rest well you will just have to jiggle them about until they are close... from the pics though it looks like there are no provisions for the N75 boost feed..

Think about it realistically though... the kit is advertised for the A3, A4, A6, TT etc... A4's/A6's are inline engines and a totally different route... not really a good start for a 'kit' huh..

If you got it cheap enough then use what pipes you can and buy new bends/silicon to make up the rest... the FMIC thread in the stickies has plenty of examples of A3 FMIC installs...

    Do your research :)

That kit will fit directly onto a K03 car if the pipes are as pictured.

Pipes appear to have the same bends and shape as mine. And would fit like this -

I bought a 2.25 inch universal intercooler kit and tbh I've made it fit perfectly no un slightly pipes sticking out no gashing the bumper just slight trimming

yup, same kit, the pipes do fit fine, but trim needs trimming to allow them to take their natural route.
