im trying to tidy annoying little bits up on my car and the foglight i have got is splattered with stone chips
can i rub it down with 1500 wet & dry and then polish it up?
or will that make it worse?
also what bulb type is in them?

thanx

Well there was a dude on here that did that with his headlights and he said they came out a treat, so worth ago, ive got some replacement fogs on the way so when i get them im going to have a go at snading the old ones down and seeing how they come out.

The bulbs are H7's same as the main beam mate.

best doing a search on the detailing section Gav...Dani's spot on, a chap took his off and machined them, looked fantastic afterwards

lovely cheers guys will have alook

Glass is more difficult to polish than the plastic of the headlights... I have given my headlights a couple of sweeps with Menz final finish and a DA and they are much clearer... I will be trying wet and dry next to see if I can lessen the micro crack you can see when the lights are on...
