Front fog lamps

Does anybody know how to get into the front fog lamp bulbs on a B8 S Line A4?

Two ways :

[1] As the manual suggests
which is yank off the plastic surrounds and then undo the two screws

or

[2] undo a couple of the screws that hold the wheel arch liner in place and you can go in from behind.

and you can go in from behind.

Tempting, very tempting...................................!!!

You were right, hard pull to get it off although the manual does say thats for halogen headlights. It also says H7 bulb but mine are H11.
