Front ARB cracked AGAIN - after less than 18 months.....

My Front ARB is creaking a good'un and I don't think that should happen so soon after it was replaced. Definately the ARB as its the same sound as last time....

Any ideas if I can complain (to no avail!) to the stealers.....

worth a try. If you have no luck, go for aftermarket ARB's.

I blame our ****** roads, I've just spend £750 getting suspension bits replaced because of creaking and rattles.

That god the guys at APS actually figured out what the creaking was on my car or I would have gone totally insane.

Yep......I blame the roads in Milton Keynes near a friends' house where they have raised road irons but not a single sign. I blame the developer but it's unlikely I'll get anywhere by complaining to them......

go for the R32 arb as they dont have the sleves on them like the std S3 one does.

where are you based? Its a 2hr job to fit them, dealers may charge much more, better to go to one of the local specialists. I've got H&R ARB's on my car and there the best mod i've ever done to any car. Unbeatable for smiles to £.

I'm in North London mate. Just booked in to ABT in Southampton (nr my bro's house) at £44 hr for labour rather than the £114 charged by Whetsone Audi........

DPM - not sure if you got my PM, nut thanks for your help last week regards the H+R ARBs, I ended up going for standard in the end, but will be in touch if it happens again :-(

I've to day received a settlement from Milton Keynes council for the damage to my ARB caused by thei lack of roadsigns for raised ironworks on a newly built estate, which covered the cost of a major service, new springs on the rear suspension, cam belt and obviosuly the ARB...

Yay......
