I know this thread has probobly been done before but i can't find anything.
Anyway i have booked my car in for friday at my local stealer for free M.O.T i can't see why and how they are offering this deal?there must be a catch but i can't find anything on the web site, anyone had the car into dealer for this free M.O.T if so did they find loads of things wrong to sting you with the work or did they pass first time?
I'm very sceptical but booked it anyway got nothing to loose if they fail it on loads of stuff i've got plenty of time before its due(end of the month) to take it elsewhere for a test and then get any work that may need doing done to pass.I personally think the car is in good condition to pass only had a full service at a local specialist done a few weeks ago and he toldme everything was in order.

I took up this offer just over two months ago and it was passed straight through with no problems.

There is no catch. Had mine done in February and all they mentioned was the usual bs about the cracked rear anti-roll bar.
Apart from that it was well worth having it done.

yup no catches. Had mine done and came out with a clean bill of health.

Think they may be trying to build up trust between dealers and customers again.

the catch is, if it fails they tell you that your current MOT is invalid, now that has gone thru a test, now i have spoken to MOT tester and he said my current one is still valid until the date it runs out....audi obv misleading people into thinking, Sh1t i have no MOT now, you best get the work done...and pay their premium prices...thats the catch!

I guess they're trying to get people with the "convenience" of just leaving the car with Audi to get it fixed.... or to get the annual service done there too....

If this is true they must be breaking some sort of law,
by telling people there current test is invalid is a disgrace as its 100% not true as already said
if this is there idea of building bridges and customer service it sucks :gun2:

Well the car sailed through the M.O.T with no problems they didnt try and hasle me to buy a new motor, they only recomended timing belt change which ive already had done. They even hoovered and cleaned the car for me,although i had just cleaned it the night before and they made a worse job of it than when it went in!!

I have dealt the Teeside Audi while I was at uni in Sunderland and found them excellent. Now I'm back home I have the choice of Bedford or Huntingdon, not heard good things about Huntingdon though. I believe "C**tingdon" Audi was the phrase used? :ermm:
