forge r splitter

    Hi guys I've just bought a forge r splitter and noticed a few different threads about them anything that could be problem? Cheers :)

    Yeah... they have too small a hole to let the pressure out and they cause running problems due to leaking air from a sealed system... the ECU will haev been trying to fuel for a measured amount of air and when the split-r leaks it to the atmosphere the AFR goes rich which leads to misfires, stalling and rough idling... its not very good at being a diverter or a BOV... atmos valves are no good for std engine management...

    Sell it and get a 007p

    Cheers mate yeah I will do! Good write up :) it's got the atmospheric one on atm due to previous owner, he blocked off the turbo to air box pipe which means now its throwing up the engine management light :-/
