I have recently fitted a forge piston diverter valve and, it has started to leak oil around the rubber pipes. Im guessing this is because i did not tighten them up enough, but should there be that much oil in there to cause a leak anyway i thought that there was only supposed to be a light amount in the air. I am pretty sure that it was fitted the right way round, would that cause it if it was not?
    Cheers guys.

Is it new? There may be residual oil from manufacturing. If it really is excees oil, then the answer is NO, ther shouldn't be that much oil in the hoses.

Get the car VAGed and check for boost pressure and any codes.

I have checlked it now and one of the pipes from the DV had unscrewed its self, and the oil was driping onto the driveway so there was enough to do that.
