hi have got a forge dv for my a3 turbo 150bhp which spring do i use ??? it as come with a silver spring that is fitted and a yellow n blue spring in the box

Assuming its a new 007 or 008 then green is fine

got it off ebay about 6 months old 008,does the old trick work on the a3 by adjusting the rod on the actuator give her a bit more get up n go ?

Technically yes but not something thats recommended... what engine code/year is your A3?

its 2000 w reg what psi do they run standard ?

might be worth checking the piston in your forge DV, they revised them around about the time you got yours i think to add a extra seal to the piston to stop them being so leaky, if you buy a service kit from forge (around £20 i think) they come with new a piston and seals
