Had a go at it today and it works perfectly. if your handy with a welder your be fine. I trimmed my valance and cut my exhaust bends off and welded the tips on.

Im going to be painting my rear valance gloss dark grey tonight to finish it off!

Is thyere anything you can put around the cut holes in the valance before you paint it just to give it a more finished look? Sounds like it needs some 'rolled lip' or something cut and glued in before the colour change. Would really finish it off if you want to be fussy. Good work though by the way!
