First question on this forum so please bear with me. I used the search function and didnt find anything related so hoping i can get some advice. I've got an A3 tdie sportback 08 plates which have from what I understand are part no's 8P0807681F ; 8P0807682F fog grills.
I wanted to upgrade these to something with a bit more of a chrome look and found fog grills similar shape to mine (part no's: 8P0807682J and 8P0807681A. Now the guy I emailed from Germany said they only fitted on models 09-13.
This has left me a little confused as my car's clearly 08. I also saw on another forum (french one) where someone looked to have replaced it with the parts I mentioned above

Can someone please advise if the parts with the chrome will fit my 08 sportback? Or if i'll need to make any adjustments to the existing fog lights to make them fit?
