Hi just a quick question, When fitting a fmic I've seen several people on here remove the fog lights and insert pipe work in it's place. Are the front fogs needed for a mot pass??

    Thanks mike

They are not "needed" as such for an mot.
If they are there they have to work was all i have ever been told.
So removing them isnt a problem.
If your fitting the Forge kit ( as it says in your sig )
you dont need to remove them, The kit is designed to fit around/behind them.
Personaly i would leave them in if your going with the mentioned kit as you would be loosing something you dont need to. I made up my own pipework and realy wanted to keep the fogs so had to work realy hard to sort the pipework around them.

I just seen some pics of a s3 running a forge fmic a while back and seen the pipes in place of the fogs and liked the look of it. But might just keep it stelf like and keep the fogs inplace

If they are fitted they need to work, if they are not there, they cannot be tested.

Check out the Ebay/Forge/Ah fab FMIC thread for details
