Mine is blowing like a biach.

Anyone know if i could just replace this part of the downpipe? i.e weld it on?

Also if that is possible what size would i need.

Cheers.

Had to replace mine a couple of weeks back, not sure whether you'll be able to replace just that part though - mine was just a concertina'd bit of the pipe rather than a seperate section (although that's on a non-turbo 1.8). Might be different on the 1.8T.

Yep, that's the fella. I just got a whole new front pipe from here but I'm not sure if they do one for the T. Maybe try vagparts or GSF?

You could replace the flexi part but they are not cheap + you have all the messing about of chopping and welding it in the correct place, also you would prob end up taking it off to get a good weld round the top part of the pipe near the body so you may as well replace it with a new downpipe, i think new ones from Audi are £75 all in.

Stealers (Blackburn Audi) quoted me about £120 + Vat, robbing gits & Kwik-Fit wanted 120 all in.
