Hoping the collective knowledge here can help...
We've recently bought a 2003 (53) TT 1.8T with 58000miles on the clock. It's got a full legit service history but the previous lady owner hardly ever drove it.
We've noticed that at low revs (especially when the engine is cold) there are flat spots where the car feels almost jerky, like coming off the accelerator but worse.
Once opened up to higher revs it's absolutely fine and it never happens at higher speeds.
Any ideas? Dirt in the fuel lines? Coked up? Or something worse?
Thanks in advance.
