fitting window clip

my window clip had broken so the window wasnt shutting properly. i got the clips replaced, following http://www.piglet-net.net/tech/cars/a3-window.html guide. but i didnt line the subframe up properly as i didnt make the markings correct, now the door doesnt shut properly. ive fiddled about with it., no joy.

how do i now get the door to shut properly like b4?

From what you have said, your only choice is going to be trial and error with moving the wedges. Look at the door when you have it closed and adjust the wedges a little at a time corresponding to how the door fits.

Dont think there is any easy way around it.

Cheers guys for the link and advice. Does anyone have a clue about the regulator on eBay that I have linked??
