fitting new stereo

    will a chorus stereo from on 02 plate car fit ok in my 2000 X reg pre-facelift car? i know the changed the dash in the facelift but is the slot the same size and the finish to the plastic around the stereo the same? thanks
    oh and at the min i have the concert (THE ONE WITH THE DODGEY VOLUME NOB) HENCE WHY I NEED TO CHANGE.

    I'm not 100% on this, but You need to check if the head unit has a can bus connection, Your Concert stereo if its a concert 1(volume button in the middle) wont. If it did fit physically,I've been told it will switch itself off after 1 hour of use and the illumination wont work without the canbus connection.

    If the stereo isnt from an A3 you need to be careful as the fascia sizes do differ between models.
