fitting new shocks help! plz

Hi guys.
Anyone got any guide to fitting new shocks? Please.
I've just ordered some bilStein b4 dampers and want to try and fit them myself if it's not too difficult.
Also has anyone else just changed the shocks and does it improve the ride much?
I've heard it's like a new car after.

Would still like to hear if others have replaced shocks and if it made much difference to the ride quality

Compared to knackered old shocks, yes, new shocks improve handling and ride quality

How to tell if current shocks are knackered though as I can't really bounce them as the ****** suspension is so hard to start with grrr.
All I get is front end bouncing after every bump in the road. Everyone has said it could be something different.
