First post for new S4 owner 1st Wax with Zaino

Hi everyone, got almost 800 miles on the car and putting down a few coatse of wax today and tomorrow. I'll post some pictures when finished. So far I've washed with dawn dishwash liquid to remove all the wax and grease. Then I used a clay bar to get rid of anything that was left rail dust, brake dust, etc. Then rewashed car and put down my first 2 coats of wax. SO far it's looks so good I may never want to take it out of my garage again. I'll submit some pictures tomorrow when it's finished.

Zaino Bros. wax is incredible. I use the X-14 plastic wax on my motorcycle....

What is the purpose of the clay bar...does it create surface scratches???

The clay bay pull all sorts of things out of your paint.
It get rail dust from shipping by train, brake dust, bugs, tar, and all sorts of other contaminents that you can feel but not really see. Amazing stuff. As soon as I can figure out how to add pictures I'll post the results.
