We have had the A3 a couple of weeks now. Mainly used by the missus for 9 mile commute - country lanes, A road & town - she loves it! Not much chance to use the power so averaging about 28mpg (according to DIS) which is exacly the same as the dreadfully worthy but dull Nissan Xtrail that it has replaced. I've driven it a couple of times and been very impressed by the 'stuck to the road' feel and the pick-up for quick lane changes on dual carriageways. Only slight worry was this morning shortly after start from cold the idle became a bit irregular and lumpy - a blip of the throttle seemed to clear it but is this normal? - it was serviced (according to the book) in April with about 10k on the clock.
