Firewalls

    I will need to upgrade my firewall very soon and was wondering what is good,any ideas???

    McAfee does the job for me. Had no problems with it as of yet. There are plenty to choose from though....

    your best off with a hardware one such as a netgear. they also replace your modem and give you wifi if you like.

    Im not a fan of software firewalls. some tend to add a fair bit of overhead to the pc, and or them bloody anoying popups.

    if you must then get zone alarm. its free

    Try Sygate personal firewall, it works well on my microsoft machine.And its free.

    Amongst other things, i use a hardware firewall for incoming, and a simpler version of Zone Alarm Pro as an extra layer + to deal with outgoing security.

    windows one is pap use norton/macafee
