I want to retrofit FBMFSW to my A3 MY07. I have a plain 3 spoke steering wheel.
I bought FBMFSW with part number 420419091B and need to know what airbag should I buy and what loom?
From a friend, I understood that I need 420880201C 6PS airbag and 8J0971589B for the loom
Can anyone confirm this? And will it fit on A3?
    Thanks.

The airbag number comes up as an R8 so I guess as they are the same wheel it will fit ok, the loom matches the MFSW loom for an A3

It may cost more to buy an airbag & loom from Audi than the combined wheel 2nd hand off ebay.

Should this guy be advertising this as USED and then showing in the small print :- Condition - A brand new unused, unopened and undamaged item' ?

I'm sure it most likely will be ok but surely it's worth asking him the question ?

    Saw that guy... But wasn't sure about the part number as it's 8J0 880 201 L 6PS and need 420 880 201C 6PS.
Dealer quoted 650 GBP for the airbag and loom...

Ok, it's sorted with the airbag. Got this 8J0-880-201-L-6PS and no errors whatsoever.
Now I discovered I need a new steering wheel control module: 8P0 953 549 F as my current one won't accept new coding (it's an AH version).
