Fault Code

    01262-Turbocharger (TC) wastegate regulating valve Wiring, fuse, TC wastegate regulating valve

    I have noticed at times that the recirculation valve has been fluttering and also sometimes it feels as if all boost has been lost intermittently and then returns a few minutes after.

    I had my suspicions that the recirculation valve needs replacing, would this error code and symptoms confirm this?

    Your N75 valve may be faulty. Check the wiring to the N75, and the pipes going out!

    No such thing mate... you are thinking of the N249 bypass... N75 is the boost control valve... N249 is the ECU's control over dumping boost via the DV... different beasties...

    So would anyone here have first hand feedback on the N75 J valve as a replacement?

    The car is a 1998 150. Its completely stock at the moment but I have plans to tinker with the engine to quite an extent over the next few months.

    Would the J valve be suitable for this?

    Personally... wouldn't touch it with a barge pole... AGU's are more tolerant but it still produces a boost spike and boost spikes are bad...
