As seems to be common place with most dual mass flywheel equiped cars, mines foobared, so I've been looking into single mass replacements. I've spoken to one of my customers from work who specialise in motorsport spec and custom flywheels, they do a fair bit of work for various teams in btcc, formula ford etc etc. They've said to me that they can make up a billit steel flywheel, either lightened or std weight with the timing holes for the 2.7 no problems, infact Siena has one of their flywheels for his V8 conversion. After a bit of negotiation they've said that if I can come up with around 5 orders for these, they can sell them to me at a reduced rate, as with any machine work it takes more time to set up the machines than it does make the product, so making say 5 is far more cost effective than just 1. So who here would be interested if I could get one delivered to your door for £265? which is about £100 less than their RRP!
