    Guys,

What are your opinions on getting the Scotchguard external protection for paintwork?

I used to get it done, but knowing what I know now about claying, polishes and quality wax/sealant i would never bother again. I spent about £100 on quality products from polished bliss and had enough to do the car 10 times over with much better results, much deeper wet look shine than when I got the dealer bodycare on the car when it was new.

Not saying it's a bad thing, as it will look good but you can just do a better job yourself for a fraction of the cost.
