Exhaust Manifold Differences .....

Can any one tell me what the differences between :

059 253 034al
And
059 253 034ac

The latter is the possibly cracked manifold on my 3.0tdi a6, the former is on eBay ....
Or can anyone suggest a part number that will be the same (fitting) as my : 059 253 034ac

059 253 034 AL does not exsit as part but 059 253 034 L does which is for the 3 letter code V6 TDi exhaust manifold.

When data history checked for 059 253 034 AC it shows it replaced L but it also shows that this occured approx. 21/05/10 so a 4 letter V6 TDi could have a 059 253 034 L.

Looking at your avatar/plate 09 you have a 4 letter code V6 TDi?

Thanks for your reply Gupsterg, I order a new one from TPS along with the gaskets - took the car apart this afternoon, the manifold was fine thankfully so I've returned that for a full refund, then replaced the gaskets
Let's hope that cures my slight exhaust gas smell
