    Hi all,

I am trying to find an exhaust for my A3, being the Quattro not many people seem to make a system for it, did anyone else find this?!

I have looked around and can get a Scorpion for just under £400 which didnt seem to bad, as I had one on 2 E30 325's and my Cossie and was always happy with the product and sound, its always dodgy guesing without hearing them though!

I was set on trying to get a dual exit for it, but am now thinking it may cheapen the look of the car :( so am swaying more towards a normal twin pipe on the left where it should be.

Can anyone recomend a system they have bough and are happy with on their 1.8T...Quattro....? I had considered a custom one but not so sure now.

Any pics of sound clips of info much appreciated

    Cheers

    Dave :blackrs4:

Custom could be good as you can have exactly the sound you want.

Alternative try miltek? You looking at a turbo back system then?

If I ever get a new exhaust, i'll go here http://www.mijperformance.com/

They've got wicked reviews and you tell them what sound/diameter/style you want and they'll make it for you.

Nah was just looking at cat back mate.

I did actually speak to MiJ today funny enough but they said it would defintely involve cutting the bumper about if I went for the dual exit, and the more I think about it, the more I reckon it could spoil the look of the car really.

I know what you mean. I love the fact the exhaust is hidden on my TQ. Gives the rear a cleaner look imo. I don't think i'd change the bumper for that reason alone.

Ahh so the S3 system does fit, any problems mounting underneath?

So how come you had to cut the bumper?

You may have to buy a s3 rear silencer mounting bracket, you need a cutout for the twin tailpipes the same as a s3 of course!
