Exhaust centre section

I'm thinking of getting rid of the OEM centre section with the silencer and squashed piece of exhasut for a straight thru peice of pipe connected to the OEM rear rear silencer.

Would this be ok or could the S3 suffer from power loss? Thinking of going for a custom piece of pipework a little like the pic of the Supersprint below.

i removed my center section and cats to custom system so straight threw apart from rear miltek back box didnt sound to loud and my 1/4 was 14.06 befor i had it mapped with 19.s so its a good mod i think.look at the vid in the bottom of my Signature at pod last year.......its sounds crazy now though..lol
