ESP Light on Dash............

is staying on folks.When i start up and drive ,maybe after a couple of minutes the light on the dash comes on (its the yellow triangle type symbol,in case its not the ESP).
The car doesnt seem to be driving any different and i know it will flash if something happens when im driving to let me know its working.But it is coming on and staying on.
Anyone any clue what this could be or is it nothing to worry about??

You've probably got a faulty sensor and the system has turned itself off.

Seen bad longitudinal/later sensors in the past.

I'd get it hooked up to VAG-COM or take it to a stealer to find out any error codes relating to the system.

my a3 had a similar problem about 18 months ago, turnd out to be a faulty sensor (it was located behind the hazard light) took it to AMD and it set me back about £25
