Engine type

When choosing parts I often see that there are variations on components, which I can understand, but all for the same year?

How do I identify whether my engine type is ADP, ADL etc

It'll be printed on the engine somewhere, or its at the beginning of the engine number on the V5.

It will also be on the build sticker in the boot, with the gearbox code oposite it
