Engine running noise

Hello,

After 3 months of searching for faults and burning excessive oil I came across the pcv (Crankshaft control valve) problems, only problem is when I remove the oil cap to test the theory about testing the suction I get this noise..... Any ideas? I've searched for a while to find any ideas but I'm stumped.

Valve noise, piston noise, engine noise, if the cars running ok and sounds ok with the cap on I wouldn't worry what it sounds like in there

Mine burns a bit of oil, I just top it up doesn't bother me too much, at least it's always got fresh oil between services

I think mine is excessive, I'm burning a litre every 1k miles.

I prob top mine up every couple of months but I don't do a lot of miles so it could be the same

What's Audi saying is acceptable for oil use ?

Not sure what audis current stance on oil consumption is, it's booked in Tuesday fit a consumption test, they also instantly said about doing a stage 1 repair.
