engine rebuild

    heads come of today

    water pump had a leak so new one will be going in any way.

    Blocks ok so new rings / shells / etc oil pump

    recon head


    question is when putting together is it ok to use gasket sealant on inlet manifold and turbo manifold as well as the gaskets ?

    You shouldn't need to assuming new gaskets are used

    all new gaskets and seals are to b used .

    The good news is my bottom end is fine

    The Bad news is the head has cracked where the glow plugs come out :(

    and its a C in the part number
