Engine Number

    Soooo.... If my engine number is AJL008336 does that mean it was really the 8336th AJL made?
    Does anyone know how many of these engines were made in total? Pointless question really I know but just sat here with my V5 in front of me.

    not sure, but bear in mine an AJL is identical to an AEB in every way, it was only labelled up as AJL if it happened to be attached to a 180hp ECU.

    So there are probably millions of those engines around, they just dont all have AJL on them :p

    how similar is the AEB to the 20v 1.8 fited to the B4?
